GV has led a series C round that will help GitLab, which has now raised $45m altogether, evolve to a software development and operations company.
US-based software services provider GitLab secured $20m in a series C round yesterday led by GV, the early-stage investment vehicle of internet and technology conglomerate Alphabet.
GitLab has not named the other investors in the round, though it revealed that Matt Mullenweg, founder of content management system producer WordPress, will join its board of directors.
