Meredith Finn, a former senior director at Salesforce Ventures who helped launch its Impact Fund in 2017, will leverage her expertise in enterprise software at March Capital.

Meredith Finn, previously a senior director at Salesforce Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of enterprise software provider Salesforce, has joined venture capital firm March Capital as a partner.

Selected for GCV’s Rising Stars award last year, Finn helped set up Salesforce’s $50m Impact Fund in 2017, having joined the unit two years prior.

After launching the Salesforce Impact Fund, Finn oversaw 11 investments, including a $40m series C round for Africa-focused recruitment services provider Andela, a $10.5m series B for off-grid solar system provider Angaza and an $8m series A for enterprise text messaging platform developer Hustle.

Finn told Global Corporate Venturing: “I am going to be focused on enterprise software broadly while at March, going back to my core focus while at Salesforce.”

The move comes at a time when March Capital raised a $157m second VC fund and a $145m second opportunity fund, according to securities filings made earlier this month.
