Tomorrow’s Extreme Tech Challenge global finals represents a chance for the world to see how so-called tech-for-good startups address global challenges as defined by the United Nation’s 17 sustainable development goals.

The Extreme Tech Challenge 2020 Global Finals will be held virtually on July 15 at 10:00-11:15 PT (trailer here). Over the past year, more than 2,400 startups from 87 countries applied to XTC and the top companies will pitch to a panel of investors, including Young Sohn (president and chief strategy officer, Samsung Electronics), Jerry Yang (co-founder, Yahoo), Tim Draper (founding partner, Draper Associates),  Rafaele Tordjman (founder, Jeito Capital), Philippe Botteri (partner, Accel), and Bill Tai (partner emeritus, Charles River Ventures). They will select the XTC 2020 Global Winner, the Female Founder Award, and the COVID-19 Innovation Award.

The free registration takes just 30 seconds here and Global Corporate Venturing is honoured to be a partner for the final. GCV Leadership Society members, chaired by Sohn, will be able to see the winners as part of our GCV Connect communications platform and in a follow-up for our next GCV Digital Forum 2.0 on 29 September, which includes a keynote from Sir Ronald Cohen, father of the impact investing revolution.
