MakinaRocks, the South Korea-based creator of an artificial intelligence-equipped software tool for monitoring manufacturing processes, closed a ₩12bn ($10m) series A round on Wednesday featuring carmaker Hyundai Motor as well as LG Technology Ventures and Applied Ventures, subsidiaries of conglomerate LG and chipmaker Applied Materials, The Korea Herald reported.
