Clean Power Finance, an online platform that provides software and financial services to solar power professionals and investors, has raises $37m in funding.

US-based Clean Power Finance (CPF) has raised $37m from a consortium including Google Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of search engine Google.

Other investors included venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Edison International and Hennessey Capital, as well as a division of Hitachi Capital America.

Since being founded in 2006, CPF has raised $65m in funding including $3.6m in a series A round in 2010 and $25m in a series B round in 2011.
