Manmeet Gujral and Kelly Barton have been promoted to vice president at CapitalG where they will focus on investments in machine learning and fintech startups.
Manmeet Gujral and Kelly Barton have been promoted to vice presidents at CapitalG, the corporate venture fund of US-based conglomerate Alphabet.
Gujral will help lead investments in AI, machine learning and open-source startups to help build CapitalG’s AI practices. He was a product marketing and operations lead for a year at Tecton, a US-based machine learning company, and was a consultant for two years and Bain & Company.
Barton will lead investment in B2B fintech and vertical software companies. She spent two years at Boston Consulting Group as a consultant and associate and served another two years at Senreve, a US-based fashion company as an operations analyst and part-time analyst.
