Javier Gonzalez has been hired at Spain-based financial services company Alantra as a director of the corporate venture capital team.
Alantra provides advisory services to corporates that want to set up a CVC or want to improve their corporate venturing strategy. It also runs an energy transition fund, Klima, through which it co-invests in startups with limited partners.
Before accepting this position, he was an investment director at venture capital firm Conexo Ventures for four years.
Gonzalez was also an investment manager at Caixa Capital, the corporate venture arm of Spain-based financial services company CaixaBank.
