Matthieu Eyries brings two decades of operations and investments leadership experience to his new role.

Matthieu Eyries has joined Capgemini Ventures, the investment arm of French multinational digital consulting company Capgemini, as its managing director.

He has taken over the role from Capgemini veteran Lucia Sinapi-Thomas who led the corporate VC team for seven years.

Eyries was previously head of strategic ventures at Neom, a Saudi Arabia-based sustainability initiative, where he focused on investments and partnerships aimed at addressing critical innovations in sustainable energy and water.

Prior to that, he spent over 14 years in various roles at industrial gas supplier Air Liquide, with the most recent being vice-president of energy transition and hydrogen where he led on projects aimed at decarbonising the global industry through various energy solutions.

Capgemini Ventures aims at cocreating and delivering value with startups, clients and tech partners. The unit focuses on investing in technologies related to aerospace and defence, automotive, banking, cloud, data and AI, cybersecurity, energy transition, life science, manufacturing and sustainability.
