Amy Varney Carrington was part of the team responsible for opening the Bosch Ventures’ London office.

Amy Varney Carrington has joined Bosch Ventures, the corporate VC arm of German multinational engineering and technology company Robert Bosch, as senior investment director.

Carrington is also responsible for opening the unit’s London office in a move aimed at strengthening the global team’s presence in the UK.

Carrington was previously investment principal at VC fund Zinc. Prior to that, she spent nearly three years at Systemiq Capital, a climate-focused VC fund, where she invested in B2B software, fintech and deep tech.

Founded in 2007, Bosch Ventures invests globally in startups across all stages of development. The firm’s investment focus includes automation and electrification, climate technologies, enabling technologies, healthcare systems and related services and business models.
