Salesforce Ventures, Okta, Slack, PayPal Ventures and HR Tech Investments contributed to the human resources software developer's latest round at a valuation exceeding $1bn.

US-based human resources software provider Oyster received $150m in series C funding yesterday from investors including corporates Salesforce, Okta, Slack, PayPal and at a valuation above $1bn.

The round was led by growth equity firm Georgian and also featured Endeavor Catalyst, Base10, Partners Advancement Initiative, Emergence Capital, Stripes, Avid Ventures and People Tech Partners. It brought the company’s total funding to $227m.
