The move follows various roles in investment, business development and innovation.
Saif Al Abri joined Oman-based utility holding company Nama Group as general manager for investments.
Nama Group’s subsidiaries include electricity and power, water and wastewater companies.
Prior to joining Nama Group, Al Abri was chairman at Global Pioneer, a holding company that owns water bottler Al Khoud.
He was also senior manager for investments and business development at Ithca Group, and senior manager for business development and innovation at Space Technologies. This followed a couple of stints working for Oman’s Ministry of Finance’s State General Reserve Fund in various capacities.
