January 2025 saw 53 corporate-backed startup exits, marking a 47% year-on-year increase and the highest total since early 2023, with deal values soaring to $4.52bn.

There were more corporate-backed startup exits in January than in any month since 2022, according to GCV’s data. The dollar value tripled to $4.52bn from $1.47bn in January 2024.
