Zoom was among the investors in a $20.5m round for BrightHire, the creator of a recruitment assistant tool for use on its platform.

US-based digital recruitment assistant developer BrightHire has raised $20.5m in a series B round featuring video communication platform developer Zoom.

The round was led by 01 Advisors and included Index Ventures, while Zoom made its investment through its $100m Zoom Apps Fund. The round brings the company’s total funding to $36m.

BrightHire’s software is built on top of Zoom and uses data from video interviews to make hiring decisions. It serves as a real-time assistant, recording, transcribing and analysing interviews…
