Marisa Bertha, head of US retailer 7-Eleven’s corporate venture capital unit, 7-Ventures, has left to join water bottler Liquid Death.

Bertha had spent nearly nine years at 7-Eleven, being promoted to vice-president of growth and in charge of 7-Ventures in July last year with Monideepa Chakravorty as growth manager at the unit.

She was a board observer on three of 7-Ventures’ portfolio companies. Deals since she took over last year included Adrenaline Shoc, which raised $29m in its series B…
