Venture capital fund and platform Founders Factory Africa is growing its portfolio and seeks corporate investors to fund African startups.

Africa is a continent full of superlatives when it comes to growth.

It has the youngest population of any continent. By 2030, 75% of the population will be under 30.

It is home to seven of the 20 fastest growing economies globally.

For this reason, it is seen as a region with the biggest investment opportunities for ventures.

Founders Factory Africa, a $40m venture fund and venture platform headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, is seeking to expand its base of corporate limited partners.

Sam Sturm, chief portfolio officer at Founders Factory Africa, spoke to Global Corporate Venturing about venture investment opportunities on the continent in sectors such as fintech, entertainment and logistics.
