Comcast Ventures and the Blackberry Partners Fund have joined in the series A financing of Padopolis, developer of mobile application Catalog Spree.

Padopolis, the developer of US-based mobile shopping application (app) Catalog Spree, secured $6.1m yesterday in a series A round led by Comcast Ventures, the corporate venturing unit belonging to telecommunications, media and internet conglomerate Comcast.

Comcast Ventures was joined by Blackberry Partners Fund (BPF), the venture capital (VC) firm affiliated with telecommunications company Research in Motion, and VC firm El Dorado Ventures.
