The data security company has now raised $17m in total, after NTT Docomo joined the company's pool of backers.
UK based data security firm CertiVox has raised $8m in a series B round from NTT Docomo Ventures, the corporate venturing unit owned by Japan-based domestic mobile service provider NTT Docomo, in its first European deal and returning backer Octopus Investments.
In November 2011 CetriVox raised $1.5m in a series A round led by Pantech Ventures, with participation from Octopus, and has secured $17m in funding since it was founded in 2011.
