Apex Venture Partners leads $15m series C round for SiliconBlue Technologies with BlueRun Ventures alongside.
SiliconBlue Technologies, a US-based consumer technology company, has raised $55m after three rounds of funding from its investors, including BlueRun Ventures.
US-based venture capital firm Apex Venture Partners led the $15m series C round as a new investor and was joined by repeat VCs New Enterprise Associates, Crosslink Capital and BlueRun Ventures. Formerly known as Nokia Venture Partners, BlueRun was the corporate venturing division of Finland-based mobile phone maker Nokia until 2005. Its former parent remains a limited partner in its funds.
SiliconBlue previously raised $24m in its series B round in October 2008 and $16m at launch in 2006.
