Lot18, a private wine auction club, has raised $3m in its series A round from venture capital firm FirstMark Capital, and angels from companies Quigo, Time, AOL, Ziff Davis, Bankrate and Experian.
Philip James, founder of wine site Snooth.com, and Kevin Fortuna started Lot18.
