AppGratis, a France-based daily deal provider for applications, has raised $13.5m in its series A round from a consortium led by multi-corporate venture firm Iris Capital.

The company’s blog said it was a company that needed no external funding to grow to seven million users but “now was the perfect moment to push the hyperspace button” using money from the Orange Publicis Fund managed by Iris on behalf of mobile phone operator Orange and advertising agency Publicis.
