US-based data analytics provider Amplitude, backed by internet company Tencent, closed a $15m series B round yesterday led by VC firm Battery Ventures, TechCrunch has reported.

Benchmark, Data Collective, Merus Capital and Quest Venture Partners also took part in the round. Benchmark previously led a $9m series A round in August 2015 with participation from Quest, Data Collective, Merus and assorted angel investors.
