Dell Technologies Capital has co-led the funding round with Lightspeed Venture Partners.
US-based database technology developer YugaByte raised $16m in a series B round yesterday co-led by Dell Technologies Capital, the investment division of computer company Dell, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Founded in 2016, YugaByte has developed database technology called YugaByte DB that is specifically aimed at large-scale cloud applications.
The investment will enable YugaByte to accelerate its engineering, sales and customer support activities.
