Intel has led a funding round for business intelligence technology provider WebAction.
US-based big data analytics platform WebAction raised a $20m series B round yesterday led by Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of semiconductor technology company Intel.
Summit Partners, Panorama Point Partners, Frank Caufield and Regis McKenna and one unnamed strategic investor also participated in the round.
Founded in 2012, WebAction’s big data analytics platform, named Striim, offers fraud risk monitoring, real-time management of customer experiences, and business intelligence.
The capital will go towards increasing sales efforts and expanding market share.…
