The retail chain's incubator subsidiary has made the shopping app its 13th acquisition in just three years.

Walmart Labs, the startup incubator of retail chain Walmart, has acquired US-based shopping app developer Stylr in an undisclosed transaction.

Founded earlier this year with assistance from tech incubator Dreamit Ventures, Stylr has developed a clothes shopping mobile app that links with store inventories to facilitate consumer purchases.

According to a Walmart Labs blog post, the move comes as part of an effort “to integrate digital and physical retail to create new and unique experiences for customers.”
