The MIT-founded manufacturing app development spinout has now received more than $31m from investors including Vertex Ventures US, Pitango, NEA and C4 Ventures.

Tulip Interfaces, a US-based manufacturing app development spinout of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has obtained $18.4m in a series B round led by Singaporean government-owned venturing unit Vertex Ventures US.
VC firms Pitango Venture Capital and New Enterprise Associates also supplied Tulip with capital.
