French regional TTOs Satt Conectus, Satt Nord and Satt Sayens hope to source skilled business leaders and management for their pipeline of deep tech spinouts.
Three regional nodes from the Satt Network tech transfer organisation – Satt Conectus, Satt Nord and Satt Sayens – joined forces on Tuesday to launch a deep tech-focused management hiring program.
Team-to-Market.fr has been designed with the aim of sourcing talent to manage and assist spinouts based on research from its three partners.
The initiative is funded by France’s Grand Est administrative region, and will primarily look to recruit CEOs along with business managers, planners and developers.
Recruits must possess a strong grounding in their area of expertise and an instinct for innovation in spaces including medtech, biotech, energy and materials.
They will act as mentors for the regional TTOs’ deep-tech pipeline, which currently consists of 15 projects, consulting with the offices to determine whether they should be spun out as independent companies or licensed to an existing business.
The management will then lend their expertise across one or more deep tech spinouts to assist them with raising funds, formulating a business strategy and securing industry partnerships.
