Christophe Haunold, head of University of Luxembourg’s Office for Partnership, Knowledge and Technology Transfer, has been elected president of ASTP, taking over from Cécile Cavalade.

As president of ASTP, he plans to further develop the network and grow the community, particularly by looking at neighbouring countries and working more closely with EU institutions such as the European Commission.
Haunold has more than 30 years of experience and he joined University of Luxembourg two years ago to head its newly created tech transfer office.
He had led the tech transfer office at Institut national polytechnique de Toulouse (INP Toulouse) since 2004. He had joined the office in 1992.
