DSI Underground has acquired Edvirt, a virtual reality-based training services provider backed by Chalmers Ventures.

Edvirt, a Sweden-based edtech developer backed by Chalmers University of Technology’s venture arm Chalmers Ventures, was acquired today by DSI Underground Smart, a subsidiary of mining systems provider DSI Underground.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. The company is set to be eventually absorbed into engineering company Sandvik, which has signed an agreement to purchase DSI in a deal anticipated to close by mid-2021.
