API integration platform developer Cloud Elements has been acquired after raising more than $46m from investors including American Express Ventures.
Automation technology producer UiPath paid an undisclosed amount yesterday to purchase US-based programming integration software provider Cloud Elements, allowing payment services firm American Express to exit.
Cloud Elements’ platform enables software developers to integrate some 200 application programming interfaces (APIs) into their products. The deal means UiPath will be able to offer enterprise-grade user interface and API-based automation from one platform.
