TripAdvisor makes tracks with Traxo in $5.2m series B

TripAdvisor led Traxo's latest round, which will be used to expand the itinerary services provider's technology, sales and marketing.

US-based travel itinerary platform developer Traxo closed a $5.2m series B round on Tuesday led by travel information provider TripAdvisor.

The round included Thayer Ventures, the venture capital fund formed by hotel investment group Thayer Lodging and VC firm Quest Hospitality Ventures, as well as Advantage Capital Partners, Silver Creek Ventures and Aristos Ventures.
