Solve Media, a US-based internet security and advertising technology company which allows branded messages to be used inside captchas (human verification tools), has closed a $5.6m series B funding round, according to a regulatory filing.

The funded is reported to have been led by venture capital (VC) firm New Atlantic Ventures, while other investors included AOL Ventures, the corporate venturing division of internet group AOL, and VC firms First Round Capital and BullPen Capital.
