Slack Fund has taken part in a $15.5m series B round that increased the AI-based enterprise software developer's total funding to $27m.

US-based enterprise software producer Astound has raised $15.5m in a series B round that included Slack Fund, the investment arm of enterprise communication platform developer Slack.

Venture capital firm March Capital Partners led the round, investing alongside Vertex Ventures, Pelion Venture Partners and Moment Ventures.

Founded in 2016, Astound has developed an artificial intelligence-based platform that enables employees to automate IT support and human resources services.
