Siemens and Scania-backed Sennder has merged with fellow on-demand logistics provider Everoad to seize a larger chunk of the European marketplace.
Sennder, a Germany-based logistics software developer backed by industrial equipment and appliance producer Siemens and automotive manufacturer Scania, merged with France-headquartered shipping services portal Everoad yesterday.
Founded in 2015, Sennder markets an online platform where clients can book trucking services from a 7,500-strong fleet in order to transport goods across Europe and track journeys in real time.
