Yamaha's corporate venturing unit has led the robotic exoskeleton maker's series A round which also featured half a dozen venture capital firms.
US-based robotics maker Roam Robotics has raised $12m in a series A funding round led by Yamaha Motor Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of automotive and motor manufacturer Yamaha.
The round featured venture capital firms Boost VC, Heuristics Capital Partners, Menlo Ventures, R7 Partners, Spero Venture and Valor Equity Partners as well as investment firm Venture Investment Associates.
