Research and development firm Draper has spun off cyebrsecurity startup Dover Microsystems with $6m from backers including Qualcomm Ventures.

US-based cybersecurity technology startup Dover Microsystems has received $6m in a seed round featuring Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of mobile semiconductor producer Qualcomm.

Venture capital firm Hyperplane Venture Capital led the round, which also featured Draper, the research and development firm from which Dover was spun off, and Hub Angels Investment Group.
