Existing investor Qualcomm Ventures has contributed to a $6.2m round for the online ticketing platform that will support partnerships and acquisitions.
Brazil-based ticketing platform Ingresse has secured R$20m ($6.2m) in a funding from investors including Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of mobile semiconductor producer Qualcomm, Lavca has reported.
The round included e-commerce company MercadoLibre, fund manager Confrapar and investment firm FJ Labs.
Ingresse operates a ticketing mobile app for events such as concerts that is open to third-party event promoters, collecting fees on each ticket sold. It will put the capital towards an acquisition and partnership drive.
