Moovel moves to Validated acquisition

Jaguar Land Rover has exited mobility rewards app developer Validated in an acquisition of undisclosed size by Moovel.

Mobile ticketing platform Moovel has purchased Validated, a US-based transport rewards software developer backed by automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover, for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 2014, Validated provides a mobile app that allows consumers to redeem ride hailing, parking, fuel and public transport costs when they spend money with participating businesses. It will continue to operate as a separate entity following the deal, while Moovel is rebranding to Reach Now.
