Spain-based online freight service price aggregator iContainers has raised series B funding from Kibo Ventures, part of telecommunications company Telefónica’s Amerigo venture capital network, and VC fund Vitamina K, Hemerotek has reported.

Investment information provider Datafox stated the round comprised €1.3m ($1.5m) in capital, and that it was led by Kibo.

Founded in 2008, iCountainers offers instant quotes, booking worldwide and logistics assistance. It will use the money to develop its newly launched door-to-door ocean freight services for imports, exports…
