Christine Herron joins Intel Capital as a director in its consumer internet team as firm separately backs three more Middle Eastern companies.
Intel Capital, the corporate venturing division of semiconductor company Intel, has hired Christine Herron (pictured, courtesy of CrunchBase) as a director in its consumer internet team and struck three deals in the Middle East.
Herron previously worked as a principal at First Round Capital, which makes seed and early-stage investments, and between 2005 and 2007, was at Omidyar Network, the investment operation of angel investor Pierre Omidyar, the founder and chairman of online auction comapny eBay.
