The Intel-backed healthcare management software provider has hired John Hallock from Athenahealth as its VP of corporate communications.

CareCloud, a US-based provider of healthcare computing, has appointed John Hallock as its vice president of corporate communications, the company disclosed last Tuesday.

CareCloud secured $20.1m in September 2011 from corporate venturing unit Intel Capital and investment firm Norwest Venture Partners. That series A round followed two angel rounds, in which $7.8m was raised from undisclosed entrepreneurs and business leaders.
