Google Ventures has led a $4m series A round of funding for SaaS-based cybersecurity company ThreatStream, which will be used to add a new layer of cybersecurity for enterprise and government customers.

ThreatStream, a US-based SaaS-based cybersecurity start-up with seed funding from Cloudera executives, has raised $4m in a series A funding round led by Google Ventures. Other investors that took part include Paladin Capital Group, Cloudera CEO Tom Reilly and Hugh Nijemanze, former CTO and founder of ArcSight.
