The drone manufacturer has obtained $12.4m in a round that comes less than a year after it secured $130,000 in a crowdfunding campaign.
Flypro Aerospace Tech, a China-based manufacturer of drones for use by filmmakers and photographers, has raised RMB80m ($12.4m) in a series A round led by conglomerate Yihua Group, Technode reported on Monday.
Flypro produces small drones that can fly autonomously, following a user at a preset distance and altitude while shooting stable, high-quality videos. The product is marketed at artists, sports and hobby enthusiasts.
