Brian Kang, from Samsung Ventures and Connie Sheng from Foxconn are seeking $150m for a venture capital firm that has reportedly secured corporates as backers.

Two former corporate venturing figures have launched a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm called Nautilus Venture Partners, for which they are seeking $150m, Fortune reported on Friday.

The two founding partners of Nautilus are Connie Sheng, previously the director of global investment for contract manufacturer Foxconn, and Brian Kang, who was the managing director of Samsung Ventures, electronics maker Samsung’s corporate venturing unit, for almost 10 years up to late 2013.
