Corporates help Savioke secure series B cash

The $13.4m round took the delivery robot developer's total funding to $31m and featured Swisslog Healthcare, Brain Corp, Recruit and NEC.

US-based robotics technology developer Savioke has completed a $13.4m series B round featuring medical logistics provider Swisslog Healthcare, robotics software developer Brain Corp, human resources firm Recruit Holdings and electronics producer NEC.

NEC participated through its NEC Networks and System Integration Corporation (NESIC) subsidiary, and the round increased the total raised by Savioke to $31m since it was founded in 2013.

Savioke develops robotic couriers called Relay Robots which handle internal deliveries in locations such as hotels and industrial plants.…
