WPP, Macro Ventures and 21st Century Fox all contributed to the augmented and virtual reality content provider's latest round, the latter as an existing investor.
US-based virtual reality (VR) technology developer Within has raised $40m in a series B round that included entertainment producer 21st Century Fox, marketing firm WPP and media company Macro Ventures, Bloomberg reported yesterday.
The round was co-led by Temasek, the sovereign wealth fund of Singapore, and investment firm Emerson Collective, and also featured Raine Ventures, the investment arm of financial services firm Raine Group, as well as venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.
