Nextdoor, a US-based private social network for the neighbourhood, has raised $21.6m in its series B round.

Data provider CB Insights said Random House Ventures also invested in the $26.8m round that closed in January, according to its regulatory filing (under Knowledge Holdings).

Alongside Comcast Ventures in the C round were venture capital firms and angel investor David Sacks.

CBC Capital was founded in 2006 and its limited partners include media groups CNC Group and News Corp, phone operator PCCW, advertising services company WPP, Citic Capital, Cheung Kong, and angels.
