Siemens Energy Ventures has promoted one team member and recruited two more to work on its cleantech investments and venture clienting.

Siemens Energy Ventures, the CVC unit of the German renewable energy group Siemens Energy, which spun out from the tech conglomerate Siemens, has announced two appointments to its team and one promotion.
Yasmina Moufarrej (pictured left) has been promoted to investment manager from her previous position of senior venture associate. Moufarrej joined Siemens Energy Ventures in 2021 as a venture associate, after more than two years working for Flat6Labs, a VC firm with offices in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2023, she was recognised as part of GCV’s Rising Star awards.
Silke Grimhardt (pictured centre) joined Siemens Energy Ventures earlier this month to lead the venture clienting programme. The aim of the initiative is to pilot a100 startups, aligning their technology with challenges faced by the business. Grimhardt joins from her earlier role with UnternehmerTUM, a German startup lab where she also worked on venture clienting.
Alex Fuiks (pictured right) joined Siemens Energy Ventures as an investment manager based in London.
Siemens Energy Ventures was launched in 2020. It works with cleantech startups through venture capital, partnerships, venture building and venture clienting.
