A former GCV Rising Star, Rahim worked at Siemens Energy Ventures since its establishment in 2020.

Aziz Rahim has left his role as principal at Siemens Energy Ventures, the corporate VC arm of German energy technology company Siemens Energy.
A GCV Rising Star in 2024, Rahim spent more than five years at Siemens Energy Ventures. “I am particularly proud of the opportunity I had to build the venture capital and venture clienting function in the Siemens Energy venturing universe from blank page to full execution. This was a defining challenge, operating right at the intersection of technology, innovation, with a clear commercial drive to create new business,” he said in the LinkedIn post announcing his departure.
Prior to this, Rahim spent more than six years in various leadership roles at the corporate. He did not mention his next move.
Siemens Energy Ventures was launched in 2020 and works with cleantech startups through venture capital, partnerships, venture building and venture clienting.
