Santander's SmartBank was among the latest investors in online tailored clothing retailer Lookiero, which will spend the proceeds on European expansion.

Spain-based customised apparel e-commerce platform Lookiero has attracted $19m in a round featuring Santander SmartBank, a subsidiary of banking group Santander that focuses on bank accounts for younger people.

The round was led by venture capital fund MMC Ventures and its Mayor of London-backed MMC Greater London Fund, with participation from All Iron Ventures, Bonsai Partners and 10x Venture Partners,
