King worked at Intel's corporate venturing arm before joining the investment arm of the newly listed healthcare company.

Ex-Intel Capital investor Eric King has joined Solventum Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of 3M’s healthcare spinoff, Solventum.

King will focus on investments in medical equipment, healthcare IT and dental technologies.

US company 3M, which makes a variety of products including adhesives, car parts, building materials, cleaning supplies and coatings, spun off its healthcare business into a standalone company in April 2024.

Solventum is a publicly listed company that makes medical and oral care equipment.

King worked at Intel Capital, the venture investments arm of the US chipmaker, between 2017 and 2024.
